Narrated in rhyming couplets, Ghetto Fairytale is a portrayal of the ultimate in escapism. In a little under 13 minutes we are introduced to typical fairytale characters like The Princess, The King, The Suitor, Mr. Romantic and, of course, The Beast. But each of the characters has a real life equivalent whose existence is far from perfect.

Set in Manor Park in London, the film tells the tale of one young lady's everyday life and how she survives by interpreting everything around her as fairytale stories and characters.
